Born and raised in Waunakee, Sarah is a Wisconsin native. She attended University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she earned a degree in teaching--

which seems very fitting, given her clear organizational skills and calm, understanding attitude.

When she wasn't studying, Sarah exercised her leadership ability as manager of the men's basketball program.

There was a time that Sarah did leave her home state, but something drew her back.

‍

After all, it IS still possible to watch Badger sports from anywhere... but it's not quite the same when you can't cheer from the stands with your family.  

If you can't find her, Sarah may be off on a walk or bike ride, creating her own personal 'zen' moment.
